Municipal Court Judge

The East Providence Municipal Court is comprised of a Municipal Court Judge, Administrator, Bailiff and Two Court Clerks. They provide service to maintain the daily operations of the Municipal Court. Housing, City Ordinance, Animal and Traffic violations along with Boating are some of the types of cases heard in Municipal Court.

During this past fiscal year, the Municipal Court has processed over 5,000 cases. Seventy percent (70%) of these cases have been adjudicated.

This year we will be working hand in hand with the East Providence Police Department and the state of Rhode Island on a new E-ticket program that will be a benefit to all.
