3/15/2017 - "Think Spring" Carousel Earth Day Cleanup

The City of East Providence Department of Public Works, Refuse/Recycling Program, and the Crescent Park Carousel Commission will be sponsoring a Carousel Earth Day Cleanup at the Carousel on Saturday, April 8th from 9:30am to 12:00pm. The Refuse & Recycling Division will have an Earth Day & Recycling booth set up with recycling information, and free Earth Day coloring books for children. 

Volunteers are needed for this clean-up event, any amount of time you can volunteer is appreciated.  Assorted tasks need to be done, pick up litter, yard debris, tending to the existing flower beds, planting flower pots, removing weeds, sweeping, racking etc.  Work gloves, bags and small garden tools will be available for use during the event.  This is a great time for any students who need community service hours we will be happy to sign your service hours paperwork.
