RIDOT anticipates beginning milling and paving operations with lane closures next week from Sunday night to Thursday night (Approx 8 pm to 5 am) at three intersections. This work is weather dependent.

Recreation Position Summer Food Service Program Staff (4)
Part-Time/Seasonal (8-10 hours per week)
$10.30 per hour

Seeking “Healthy Summer Meals Hero’s” to distribute free meals to youth at selected parks and playgrounds throughout the city. Additional duties include record keeping of meals served and estimating future meal orders.

SFSP staff should be enthusiastic and capable of engaging youth and their families to participate in this free service of the USDA and RI Department of Education. Good organizational and communication skills are essential. Food service training will be provided.

The program begins in late June and runs until late August. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 11am-1pm. The SFSP does not operate on city-observed holidays.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age with some experience in supervising youth. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
